Cyber Marm Heather Flournoy has quite a few years experience supporting older adults and understanding the difficulties older adults experience when facing the rapid changes in technology and the rapidly evolving threats from scammers and AI powered hackers, not to mention the complexities of managing passwords and securing our accounts and privacy.

Subscriptions

For those in the greater New York City area and lower Hudson Valley who need extra support on a regular basis or are dealing with challenging issues such as physical impairment, identity theft or finance scams, cognitive or memory decline often associated with ageing, Cyber Marm offers monthly flat rate subscriptions in 2 tiers. Call for pricing.

The Cyber Marm Subscription Plans includes:

TIER 1 Subscription PLan

• up to 3 hours a month of virtual and in-person technical support for your computer, tablet, phone, and accounts
• password and sensitive account management
• document and photo organization
• participation in group classes
• computer health evaluation
• advanced antivirus and anti-ransomware guidance or subscriptions
• computer, software and other device updates
• computer, tablet, iPad or phone purchasing support and setup
• communication with your designated family, legal or care representative
• network and wifi evaluation
• advising and setup of simpler-to-use technologies as appropriate

TIER 2 Subscription Plan

Have extra support needs? If you or someone you know needs extra technical support time on a regular basis, our concierge service is available. We help people with serious medical issues who are dependent on their technology and need to be securely connected 24/7.

• Up to 10 hours a month of virtual and in-person technical support
• Everything included in Tier 1

The subscription plan can save thousands per year vs. hourly rate sessions, not to mention premature graying hair of young, tech-savvy family members.

Subscription plan only available following initial evaluation

NOTE: Costs associated with software, devices, security or data backups are not included in the subscription. Customers are responsible for necessary hardware and software and additional subscription purchases.

INITIAL SESSION

The initial visit generally takes 1 1/2 hours with follow up written recommendations and documentation. This can be accomplished in person or via Zoom and secure remote access software.

Cost: $225

People often find this session and the written documentation empowering and can sometimes go from there with only occasional further assistance. Others find they have an abundance of technical groundwork to lay in order to accomplish their goals. Either way, Cyber Marm is happy to assist, guide, find resources and help you prioritize. The goal is for you to come away with a solid plan.

Once we have completed the initial session, you may opt to get set up for future “quick support sessions” from 15 minutes to 1 hour.

QUICK SUPPORT SESSION

Quick Support Sessions are available for those who’ve had an Initial Session and have been set up with Cyber Marm’s secure remote access software.

Virtual sessions can be billed in 15 minute increments to make it as affordable as possible for you.

In-person sessions are a minimum of 1 hour. Discounts available for subsequent hours in same session.

Rate: $120/hour (can be billed in 15 min increments for virtual sessions only)
